Minecraft Overview:
Although still in beta phase, Minecraft is a big thing in the gaming world. First released on May 17, 2009 and the beta on the 20th of December in 2010 it has grown in popularity very fast in the past few months since the beta release. Seeing as it has only been made by one person and has blown away some of the big game developers. Yes the graphics could have a huge improvement and the online play isn't the best with frequent lag and disconnection, but you cant expect much from one person programming a whole game. However, its a very in depth survival/building game and for only $20 you cant pass it up. It might look like its not worth paying for but once you begin playing it you cant set it down. Minecrafts planned full release is on 11/11/11.
